Hyderabad: AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the interview he gave to Akshay Kumar. Owaisi said that because TV anchors were not acting well, Modi brought in a professional actor to do the job.
Asaduddin Owaisi also criticized Akshay Kumar for asking irrelevant questions such as "Aap aam kaat kar khate ho ya choos kar khate hain?" The Hyderabad MP then advised Akshay Kumar to apply for the job of an anchor on NaMo TV. “Isko ab NaMo TV ka anchor bana do. Yeh koi Prime Minister hai! Kya baat hai,” Owaisi asked.
The AIMIM chief said people are dying in the country and youngsters were troubled. “Modi had promised two crore jobs but have anyone of you got the job?” he asked from the crowd at the meeting.
Owaisi further slammed Narendra Modi over the issue of farmers suicide and unemployment. He went on saying, “He (Modi) called the actor to his home for the interview in the green gardens, with peacocks singing in the background. MP Asaduddin Owaisi raised questions such as, "If Modi sleeps only four hours a day, then why are farmers still committing suicide? How did the 50 kg of explosives reach Pulwama? Why couldn't Modi deliver the two crore jobs promised?"
It may be noted that Akshay Kumar earlier this week took a non-political interview of the PM for news agency named ANI. The interview has become the talking point in the midst of election campaigning.
